SUNY New PaltzFrom Poughkeepsie, cross the MH Bridge, and take 9W North to 299 West. Once in New Paltz, turn left on Rt. 32 South. Take the 4th right (Mohonk Ave. Ext.) into the campus. Elting Memorial LibraryThe library is at the corner of Main St (Rtes 299 and 32) and Plattekill/Front Sts. on the NE corner. At the same corner are P&G's Bar and Restaurant, Starbuck's and Chase Bank. Parking: From the east on 299, turn shallow right onto Front Street which is also rte. 32N, go a short block past Handmade and More, turn right onto Church St, and after about 50 ft turn right into the library parking lot. The walk up to the library is between the shed and the library building. Use the door to the new addition, not the old stone building. When leaving the parking lot, Church St is two way. When turning left out of the parking lot onto Church, you have to immediately turn right onto Front. |
Wilcox ParkTake the Taconic State Parkway to Rt 199, the Rhinebeck Exit. Go East on Rt 199 for exactly 1 mile from the bottom of the Exit ramp. The park entrance is on the right.
